I just noticed, it has been exactly a month since I've blogged here! HAs it really been this long? I was away on vacation, first, to the Andaman Islands, which is what this series is about and came back home to a terrible viral infection that i'm just crawling out of! Thanks for all your comments on the last image, it's what brings me back here, even if infrequently!
The Andamans is an archipelago in the South East of India, known for its beaches, corals, mangroves and woeful infrastructure! This here is a picture of a 'SADHU,' a holy man, draping himself with the saffron of his calling just after a bath in the waters of RAdha Nagar Beach, Havelock Island, four hours by steamer from the capital of Andamans, Port Blair. The Radha NAgar beach is one of Asia's 10 best beaches. You'll soon see why!
