Solitude 3

You can see I ain't giving up on the solitude, though the past couple of days have been swamped by work.
That's a lone dead stump on the banks of the River Cauvery, arguably the biggest in South India. This tree and more, in the river basin, died after a dam, built across the Cauvery, flooded the plains.
