Abhinaya, here, was discovered lying on a thorny bush, four days after the tsunami. She'd been lying there for all that time. Somehow managed to survive. After four days, they took her to the hospital and later, after she recovered, to the Government orphanage in Cuddalore. She was its youngest inhabitant and most popular. Six months ago, I met Abhinaya again, at the orphanage, very happy, still very popular. She's a symbol of hope for me.
